The playable ice hockey rink with teal and coral skaters, sticks, a black puck and two red goals
The board you’ll play on, right in your browser.
Ice with momentum

Smooth skating and a fast gliding puck.

Automatic shots

Collect the puck and approach the opposing goal.

Three ways to play

One device, computer or private online room.

Invite your friend onto the ice

  1. Press Play with a friend to create a room.
  2. Copy the invitation and send it to your friend.
  3. Your friend opens the link in another browser.
  4. Both press Ready to play.

Each player controls their own skater and sees the rink from their end. Leaving the tab or disconnecting pauses the match. Both must be ready to resume and both must approve a rematch.

Skate freely. Score five.

Teal attacks the coral end; coral attacks the teal end. Both skaters can cross the centre line. First to five goals wins. The whole puck must cross the goal line between the posts. The boards and posts create rebounds.

Skate into a free puck to collect it. Your skater stickhandles automatically at 80% of normal speed and shoots automatically within range of the opposing goal, after a short possession delay. Contact blocks movement but cannot steal an owned puck. Intercept free pucks after shots and rebounds; the shooter has a brief delay before collecting their own shot again.

After a goal, positions reset and the puck starts closer to the player who conceded, followed by a brief faceoff pause. Skaters accelerate smoothly; the puck glides with little friction. This is an arcade rink: no penalties, icing, offside or match clock.

Point, skate, line up your shot

Player 1: WASD. Player 2: arrows. In computer and online modes either set controls your own skater. Keys follow the screen when the rink rotates.

Mouse: move over the rink to guide your skater. Touch: drag near your skater; they stay above your finger. Release to stop. Two players can use independent fingers on a multi-touch screen. Shooting is automatic near the opposing goal.

Leave room for the rebound

Skate around the defender before entering shooting range. Begin changing direction early: acceleration on ice takes time. Guard the shooting lane and collect rebounds. A body check cannot take away protected possession.

A rink for practice

You play teal; the computer plays coral. Open Vs computer and choose Easy, Medium or Hard. These change skating speed, reaction time and puck anticipation. All levels use the same rules. Changing difficulty preserves the score and rink; direct computer links restore the saved level, initially Medium.

Save your next goal for later

Local and computer matches save separately in this browser, about every two seconds, after goals and when paused. Returning restores a paused match. Clearing site data removes these saves.

Online goals save before confirmation. Movement is checkpointed about every two seconds. Rejoin through the same invitation in the same browser and both press Ready again. A server restart can restore the last checkpoint. Clearing site data removes seat credentials; inactive rooms expire after seven days.
