Choose Same device and press Let’s play. Player 1 is teal and Player 2 is coral. Use WASD and the arrow keys, or guide both players with separate fingers on one court. Run to collect the free ball and approach the opponent’s basket for an automatic shot.

Basketball 1v1 rules

The first player to reach 11 points wins, without a two-point lead. Teal attacks the coral basket and coral attacks the teal basket. A basket scores 2 points, or 3 from beyond the marked arc. The ball must descend through the rim to score.

Run into a loose ball to pick it up automatically. Your player dribbles and shoots automatically when close enough to the opposing basket. You only control running. A held ball cannot be stolen, including during the dribble. After a throw, chase the free ball to catch a low airborne ball or collect its rebound.

Standing in front of a nearby shooter contests the shot. Run around the defender for an open attempt. After a basket, the conceding player receives the next ball. No fouls, free throws, out-of-bounds or match clock.

Run, collect and shoot automatically

Player 1 uses WASD and Player 2 uses the arrow keys to run in every direction. In solo or online play, either key set controls your own player. Move the mouse over the court to guide your player.

On touch screens, drag near your player and guide them around the court. Two players can use separate fingers on a multi-touch screen. Pickup, dribbling and shooting are automatic; there are no jump, charge or shoot buttons. The court rotates to fit wide screens.

Turn a rebound into a second chance

Run towards the opponent’s basket after collecting the ball. Change direction to go around a defender: a player standing close in front of you makes the automatic shot less accurate.

Follow missed shots and collect rebounds. You cannot take a held ball, so defend the shooting lane and be ready when the ball becomes free.

Pause, save and return

Local and computer games save separately in this browser when storage is available. Restored matches wait for you to start. Leaving the tab pauses play. New round keeps your selected mode and computer difficulty. Clearing site data removes local saves and online seat credentials.

Online, both players must press Ready before play begins or resumes. A pause or lost connection stops the match. Return through the invitation in the same browser to recover your seat. Baskets are saved before confirmation; moving play is checkpointed periodically, so a server restart may restore the latest checkpoint. Both players must accept a new round. Inactive rooms expire after seven days.
