Ivory cards and a warm wooden peg board.

One device, a private room or the computer.
Pass the device, keep your cards private
Open Same device and reveal the first hand while the other player looks away. Select two cards and press To crib. Pass the device before revealing the next hand. During pegging, tap a legal card to play it; the cover appears when the player changes.
Discard, peg, count. Repeat until 121.
Each player receives six cards from a 52-card deck without jokers and discards two face down into the dealer’s crib. The first dealer is chosen randomly, then the deal alternates. After both discards, a random starter is turned up. A starter jack gives the dealer two points, called his heels.
The non-dealer leads. Play one card at a time without taking the running count over 31. Aces count 1, number cards their value and J/Q/K count 10. Making 15 or exactly 31 scores two points. Two, three or four equal ranks played consecutively score 2, 6 or 12. A suffix of at least three distinct consecutive ranks scores its length, even when played out of order; suits do not matter.
If no card fits, press Go. The opponent continues to play while possible. The last card below 31 scores one point; exactly 31 scores two without an additional last-card point. The count resets and the other player leads if they have cards remaining. Empty hands pass automatically.
After all eight cards have been played, count the non-dealer’s hand, the dealer’s hand and the crib in that order, each with the starter. Press Count hand or Count crib to apply the automatic result. Every separate combination totaling 15 scores two points, as does every pair. Only the longest runs count, including every distinct combination made possible by repeated ranks.
Four cards of the same suit in a hand score four, or five if the starter matches. A crib flush requires all five cards to share a suit. A jack in the hand or crib matching the starter’s suit scores one for nobs. Aces are low and Q–K–A is not a run. The first player to reach 121 wins immediately, including during pegging or on the starter jack. This version has no muggins or skunk match bonuses.
On one device, pass it before revealing the next private hand. Against the computer, your hand stays visible. Online, hidden opponent cards and deck order are never sent to your browser. The computer also receives only its own private view. Both online players must remain connected to act.
Think about who owns the crib
Fives and pairs are valuable. Keep useful combinations together, but remember that two discarded cards help the dealer. During pegging, avoid leaving an easy fifteen and watch which ranks have already appeared. Open the score sheet to review each scoring event.
Continue your match
Local and computer matches save separately in this browser when storage is available. Next hand preserves scores and alternates the dealer; New round during a hand replaces the match after confirmation locally or agreement online. Both online players accept the next hand. Reopen the room link in the same browser to reclaim your seat. Clearing site data removes local saves and the seat key; inactive rooms expire after seven days.
GOOD TO KNOW
Cribbage 2 Player FAQ
What is the crib?
Four cards, two discarded by each player, form an extra hand for the dealer. It is counted after both normal hands, using the same starter.
Does Go always give me a point?
No. The player who plays the final card of a count receives one point below 31, or two for exactly 31. Saying Go itself scores nothing.
Why does a crib flush need five cards?
A normal hand can score four matching suits. The crib scores a flush only when all four crib cards and the starter have the same suit.
Can I win before the hands are counted?
Yes. Reaching 121 ends the game immediately. Pegging, the last card and a starter jack can all supply the winning points.
