Press Play Solitaire to open a classic Klondike deal. Seven columns hold one to seven cards, with the top card of each column face up. The remaining 24 cards form the stock at the top left.
If you have a saved deal in this browser, it resumes automatically. Your goal is to collect all 52 cards in the four foundations above the columns.
Build down on the table. Build up by suit.
On the table, place cards in descending rank and alternate red and black: a red seven can go on a black eight. You can move an entire face-up sequence together. Only a King, alone or with its sequence, can start an empty column.
Each foundation belongs to one suit. Start with its Ace and add cards in order through King. A top foundation card can return to a column when that creates a useful move. A newly exposed face-down card turns over automatically.
See what the next card brings.
Tap the stock to reveal one card in the waste pile beside it. Only the top waste card can move onto the table or a foundation. When the stock is empty, tap the recycle arrow to turn the waste back over without shuffling its order.
There is no limit on passes through the stock. The game uses one-card draw throughout, with no variant or difficulty selector.
A familiar move, a little help.
Click or tap a face-up card, then its destination. You can also drag a card or sequence. Double-tap a free card to send it to its foundation when allowed. Keyboard players can use Tab and Enter or Space to select cards and destinations.
Hint suggests a legal move or points you to the stock. Undo reverses a move, a draw or a recycle, including any card that was turned over. Finish appears when every remaining table card is exposed and the stock and waste are empty; it collects the rest as one undoable action.
New round deals again and asks before replacing a game you have started. On narrow screens, find it and How to play in the Game menu.
Make room for the cards you cannot see yet.
Moves that uncover a face-down card often give you more choices. Think about where a King can go before emptying a column. A card on a foundation can still be useful on the table, so you may bring it back.
Deals are shuffled randomly and are not guaranteed to be winnable. Hints show legal moves, not a guaranteed solution. When you are stuck, revisit the stock, undo a decision or start a fresh deal.

Which Solitaire game is this?
Classic Klondike, using a standard 52-card deck, seven columns and one-card draw. You can recycle the stock without a pass limit.
Can I play Solitaire alone for free?
Yes. The game is free and runs locally in your browser. No account, second player or mode selection is needed.
Why will a card not move?
Tableau cards must descend in alternating colours. Only Kings can fill an empty column. Foundations must follow suit from Ace to King, and only exposed cards can move.
Is every deal winnable?
No. Deals are shuffled randomly. Hint suggests a legal move but does not promise a solution. Undo and a new deal are always available when you need to rethink.
Will Solitaire remember my progress?
Yes, when browser storage is available. Your deal and up to 300 undo actions are saved on this device. Private browsing or clearing site data may remove them.
