Start your solo match
- Open the computer game.
- To change level, press Vs computer in the top menu and choose Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Press Let’s play. Use WASD or arrows to run into the ball and shoot; mouse and touch also work.
- Beat the coral footballer to five goals.
Closing the difficulty picker changes nothing. Choosing another level keeps the match, while New round starts a fresh score.
Five goals. A whole pitch to play for.
Teal attacks the coral goal, and coral attacks the teal goal. Both players can move anywhere on the pitch and block each other. First to five goals wins. The whole ball must cross the goal line between the posts.
Run into the ball to shoot. Players accelerate as they run: a longer run-up makes a stronger shot, while a short approach gives a gentle touch. The shot travels away from your footballer through the ball, so positioning determines your aim. The walls keep the ball in play and the posts can deflect shots. There are no throw-ins, fouls, offside calls or match clock.
After a goal, both players return to their starting positions. The ball is placed closer to the player who conceded, followed by a short kickoff pause. Teal receives the first ball in a new match.
Run, line up, shoot
Player 1: WASD to run. Player 2: arrow keys to run. In solo or online play, either set of keys controls your footballer. Keys follow the screen even when the pitch rotates.
Mouse: move over the pitch to run. Run into the ball to shoot; no extra button is needed. Touch: start near your footballer, then drag anywhere on the pitch. Your player stays slightly above your finger and shoots automatically on contact, with power determined by running speed. Two people can use separate fingers on a multi-touch screen.
Make the angle before the shot
Approach from behind the ball instead of running straight into its side. A small change of angle can open a clear shot. If the direct route is blocked, bank the ball off a side wall. After losing possession, recover toward your own goal before chasing the next tackle.
Three ways to test your touch
You play teal and the computer plays coral. Open Vs computer to choose Easy, Medium or Hard. The levels change running speed, reaction time and ball anticipation; all use the same physics and goal rules. Changing difficulty keeps your score. A direct computer link restores the saved level, or starts at Medium.

Same-device and computer matches save separately in this browser, approximately every two seconds, after goals and when paused. Returning restores a paused match; press Let’s play to continue. Clearing site data removes local saves.
Online goals save before they are confirmed. Movement is checkpointed approximately every two seconds, so a server restart can return the rally to its last saved position. Reopen the same invitation in the same browser and both press Ready. Clearing site data removes your seat credentials. Inactive rooms expire after seven days.

Is 1v1 Soccer free to play?
Yes. All three modes are free and require no account or download.
Can we play at the same time on one keyboard?
Yes. Player 1 uses WASD; Player 2 uses the arrow keys. Run into the ball to shoot. On a multi-touch screen, both players can drag with separate fingers.
Are there fouls, offside or a match clock?
No. This is an arcade first-to-five match. Walls keep the ball in play, and both players can move anywhere on the pitch.
What happens if an online player disconnects?
Play pauses. Return through the same invitation in the same browser and both press Ready again. The server saves goals and periodically saves movement.
Can one player reset an online match?
No. New round and Play again request a rematch; both players must agree before the score resets.
