Start a solo round

1. Open computer mode. The button restores your saved solo round or starts a fresh board.
2. Pick a level. Press Vs computer in the game to open Choose difficulty, then choose Easy, Medium or Hard. Medium is the default until you save another level.
3. Draw as Gold. The computer controls Coral. You cannot place its lines.
4. Keep going when you score. Each closed square earns another move for either player.

What the three levels change

Easy often chooses a random legal edge, leaving opportunities to practise. Medium takes available boxes and otherwise prefers edges that do not offer an immediate square. Hard searches possible continuations, follows extra turns and evaluates capture chains. Its search is bounded to keep the browser responsive; it is not guaranteed to play perfectly.

Choose difficulty lives inside the Vs computer popup. Selecting a new level keeps your board; Cancel leaves both the mode and difficulty unchanged. Direct links use your saved level.

Try a different goal each round

First, learn to notice any box with three sides: its remaining edge is a point waiting to be claimed. Next, try to avoid drawing the third side of a box while safer edges remain. Finally, look for connected runs of boxes that may become a long scoring turn.

A move can claim two neighboring squares at once. Watch the score and the highlighted card after each capture. Read the complete rules if a turn surprises you.

Keep a solo board for later

Your computer game saves separately from Same device in this browser. Refreshing computer mode restores the board and resumes a pending computer turn. New round and Play again keep your selected difficulty and give Gold the first move again.
