Take your seat

Open the table on a phone, tablet or desktop. Same device starts a local match; Vs computer offers three difficulty levels; Play with a friend creates a private room. There is no random matchmaking.

From the first blind to the river

Two players start with 2,000 play chips each and a fresh 52-card deck. Blinds stay at 10 / 20. These are game points only: no money, purchases or payouts. Win all 4,000 chips to win the match.

Each player receives two private cards. The dealer button posts the small blind and acts first before the flop. The other player posts the big blind and acts first after the flop. The button alternates every hand. Calling the small blind still leaves the big blind a chance to raise.

The flop reveals three shared cards. The turn and river add one each, with betting at every stage. Check when there is no bet, call to match, fold to give up the pot, or bet and raise. Raise to means your total contribution for this betting round. The minimum bet is 20; each full raise adds at least the previous full raise amount. A smaller raise is legal only as an all-in.

When an all-in is called, the rest of the board is dealt automatically. Uncalled chips return to their owner. With only two players there is no contested side pot. A fold keeps the losing hand private.

At showdown the best five cards from your two cards and the five on the table win. You may use both, one or neither hole card. Highest to lowest: straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, high card. An ace-high straight flush is a royal flush. An ace can also be low in A–2–3–4–5. Kickers break ties; suits never do. Equal hands split the pot.

Next hand keeps the stacks and changes the dealer. New round resets both stacks to 2,000. Local mode hides cards when the device changes hands; reveal only after the other player looks away. The computer and online opponents receive only their own hole cards and the public table.

Think beyond your two cards

Position matters: the dealer acts last after the flop. Compare the price of a call with the pot, and remember that a strong shared board may help your opponent just as much. Keep your raise size consistent with the hand you are representing.

Keep your place at the table

Local and computer matches save separately in this browser, including the exact deal and stacks. Changing difficulty keeps your hand. Online, return through the same room link in the same browser; both players need to be connected. Either player can continue a completed hand, while a new match needs both players’ approval. Clearing browser data removes local saves and your seat key. Inactive rooms expire after seven days.
