Choose your duel
Choose how to play from the shared menu: Same device for two people nearby, Vs computer for solo practice, or Play with a friend for two browsers. Online rooms are private invitations; there is no random matchmaking.
First to five wins
First to five points wins the match. One hit destroys a tank and gives the other player one point. A simultaneous knockout or a 60-second round with no hit awards no points. After a short pause, both tanks respawn on a newly generated, balanced arena. Every round and new match creates a different layout; returning to a saved match keeps the same arena. Both tanks have identical speed, turning and reload time.
Shells reflect off arena walls and sandstone barriers up to twice, then disappear on the third impact. Each shell lasts at most 3.5 seconds. You can have three shells in play and fire every 0.48 seconds. A ricochet can hit your own tank and give the other player a point. Barriers cannot be destroyed; tanks cannot drive through them or through each other.
Steer, rotate and fire
Player 1: W/S drive forward and reverse, A/D rotate, Space fires. Player 2: up/down arrows drive, left/right arrows rotate, Enter fires. In computer and online modes either key set controls your own tank. P pauses or resumes local play. On touch screens hold the arrow buttons and fire button with separate fingers; both players can act at once.
Make cover work for you
Keep an escape route open. Rotate before driving into a narrow gap, and avoid staying in the line of your own bouncing shell. Fire deliberately: three stray shells leave you waiting for ammunition. A direct shot is faster, but a bank shot can reach a rival who thinks they are safe.
A rival for practice
Choose Easy, Medium or Hard in Vs computer. Easy reacts slowly and has a less steady aim. Medium follows routes around cover and lines up direct shots. Hard reacts faster and tries to dodge nearby visible shells. All levels obey the same movement, ammunition and scoring rules. Changing difficulty keeps the current match.
Pause, return and play again
Local and computer matches save separately in this browser and restore paused. Online round results are saved before confirmation; movement is checkpointed every two seconds. A server failure may return movement to the last checkpoint. Leaving the tab or disconnecting pauses the online match. Return through the same invitation in the same browser and both press Ready to resume. A new online match requires both votes. Clearing site data removes local saves and the credential for your online seat; inactive rooms expire after seven days.
