How to start

Choose the rules in the top menu, then select Play with a friend. Copy the private link and send it to your friend. The host is Player 1 and starts once both players are connected. Keep the link to return to the same room.

One shared result

The server rolls the dice and validates every hold and scoring choice. A disconnected player can return to their saved seat in the same browser. A new round keeps the room’s variant and requires both players to agree.

Yatzy and Yahtzee rules

Player 1 starts. Roll five dice up to three times per turn. Tap dice to hold or release them. After any roll, choose one empty category to score, even if it scores zero. Each category is used once. When both sheets are full, the higher total wins; equal totals are a draw.

Yatzy has 15 categories. Ones through Sixes add the matching dice, with a 50-point bonus at 63. One pair scores the highest pair; two pairs must have different values. Three and four of a kind count only the matching dice. Full house requires a triple and a different pair and scores their sum. Small straight is exactly 1–5 for 15; large straight is 2–6 for 20. Chance adds all five dice. Five equal dice score 50.

Yahtzee has 13 categories without pair boxes. Its upper bonus is 35 at 63. Three and four of a kind add all five dice; full house is 25, four consecutive values score 30 and five consecutive values score 40. Five equal dice score 50.

After the Yahtzee box is filled, another five of a kind follows Joker rules: fill the matching upper box if it is open, otherwise a free lower box, otherwise any other upper box for zero. Full house and straights receive their fixed scores. An extra 100 points are added only if the Yahtzee box already contains 50. A scratched Yahtzee still follows Joker placement but earns no extra 100.

Choose the variant in the top menu before creating a room. Online dice come from the server and room rules stay fixed. Both players agree to a new round. Local and computer games save separately for each variant, including dice and holds. Difficulty changes preserve the current game.

Give each roll a purpose

Watch the upper bonus before spending a good high pair on Chance. Compare the cost of scratching a category with the points you can secure now. Holding all five dice means choosing a category or releasing a die.
